RESIDENTIAL VOLUNTEER COOK
If you want to volunteer and at the same time experience life in a lively Buddhist community in the centre of London, this is the role for you.
We are looking for a Residential Volunteer who can join our team as a Vegetarian cook. The role of the consists of
-Cooking for up to 15 people including Lama Zangmo and the monks and nuns of the centre.
Note: You will be responsible for cooking one meal per day (lunch).
-Help with preparing cakes and soup for our Tibetan Tea Room for the weekend.
-Cleaning the kitchen.
-Ordering food and equipment for the kitchen.

-Letter of recommendation after successfully finishing your volunteering residency.
THE SKILLS YOU NEED
-Some experience in preparing food for bigger groups (approx. 15 people).
-Good communication skills.
-Ability to maintain kitchen clean and tidy.
You would be living in our community of 20+ people who are interested in Buddhism. This position is ideally suited for someone who is interested in Buddhism and Meditation however this is not a must and we would welcome anyone.
Minimum commitment: 3 months, preferably longer.
Working hours: 5 days per week, from 9 to 5.
