About the event

The weekend programme consists of reflections on the four thoughts that turn the mind to the Dharma, and the practice of prostrations. There will be no instructions during this weekend and participants need to have received instructions and have started the practice already and be clear about the practice, as it is self-led.

The function of the prostrations is to deepen our sense of refuge in the Three Jewels and take root in the Lineage, and help us appreciate the importance of Dharma practice. It is a method of purification of obscurations and accumulation of merit.

It is fine to attend only part of the weekend, but please do not enter after a session has started. Each day starts at 10am and finishes at 4.30pm, see timetable below. Sessions start together, but everyone practices and recites at their own pace; the sessions are not led. Please bring your own Ngondro text. For any questions please contact the office.
