An Introduction to Meditation
This is the first in a series of FOUR weekly classes introducing methods of meditation especially suited for beginners. The sessions are held on Wednesday evenings (6.30pm until 8pm). Dates for this class are: 1st March; 8th March; 15th March; and 22nd March 2023.

About the event
Please note that we are no longer taking bookings for this course as it is part of a teaching series that began on the March 1. One needs to have booked on to the March 1 teaching to attend the course.
This course will be repeated throughout the year, so if you do wish to attend an, "Introdction to Meditation", please book into the course strarting May 3. The following is a descriptoin of the focus of this course for future reference:
This course is for people who are new to meditation and will introduce the techniques and understanding to establish an ongoing and fruitful practice of calm abiding meditation. It will include posture, relaxation, breathing, and walking meditation and other relevant aspects of practice. A regular meditation practice can bring a greater sense of inner peace and can help to calm an overactive mind, as well as bring more understanding in a deeper sense of who we are.
- The evening will consist of two sessions with time for Q&A.
- This is an In-Person ONLY course and will not be online.
NB: This evening's teachings are part of a series of four events. One must commit to attend all four.
