About the event

In this course Lama Zangmo will introduce methods of meditation especially suited for beginners.

Calm abiding meditation is accomplished through the development of mindfulness, which can be described as an ongoing awareness in the moment. By training in focusing this awareness steadily in meditation we can give rise to a more peaceful mind.

The course will introduce the techniques and understanding to establish an ongoing and fruitful practice of calm abiding meditation. It will include posture, relaxation, breathing, and walking meditation and other relevant aspects of practice, suitable for buddhists and non-buddhists alike.

A regular meditation practice can bring a greater sense of inner peace and can help to calm an overactive mind, as well as bring more understanding and a deeper sense of who we are.

The course will include time for meditation and Q&A.

NB: This is a day of teachings and one must commit to attend all the teaching sessions during the day from 10.00-16.00

A non-refundable administration fee is needed to book a place for each session in this course. This admin fee is not a donation or payment for the course.
