About the event

Please note that this teaching is no longer available to book as it is part of a teaching series that began on the 11th of March.

This course will be running again so please keep an eye out on the website. For future reference we have added the information about this course below:

The text The Jewel Ornament of Liberation merges the instructions of the Kadampa school with the Mahamudra instructions. In this classic text of the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, Gampopa combined an explanation of the path of accumulation of merit, which he learned from the famous pandit Atisha, with the development of realisation using Mahamudra meditation, which he learned from his guru Milarepa.

This is one of the primary texts of the Kagyu Lineage and is of immense relevance and benefit to all practitioners, regardless of what stage they are at. In addition to providing a step-by-step outline of the path to Buddhahood, the teachings on Buddha nature can provide students with confidence in the path and inspiration to keep moving along the unmistaken path of liberation.

The text consists of 21 chapters, and this is the first module. The second module will start in September after the August summer closure. The course consists of a monthly full day of teaching with time for Q&A and short meditations. If booking onto this course please commit to attend all the teachings, with the exception of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
