The Jewel Ornament of Liberation
The text merges the instructions of the Kadampa school with the Mahamudra instructions. In this classic text of the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, Gampopa combined an explanation of the path of accumulation of merit, which he learned from the famous pandit Atisha, with the development of realisation using Mahamudra meditation, which he learned from his guru Milarepa.
This is one of the primary texts of the Kagyu Lineage and is of immense relevance and benefit to all practitioners, regardless of what stage they are at. In addition to providing a step-by-step outline of the path to Buddhahood, the teachings on Buddha nature can provide students with confidence in the path and inspiration to keep moving along the unmistaken path of liberation.
The text consists of 21 chapters. The third module will start in January 2024 after the December winter closure.
