About the event
Gampopa's Jewel Ornament of Liberation - with Lama Zangmo
The text The Jewel Ornament of Liberation merges the instructions of the Kadampa school with the Mahamudra instructions. In this classic text of the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, Gampopa combined an explanation of the path of accumulation of merit, which he learned from the famous pandit Atisha, with the development of realisation using Mahamudra meditation, which he learned from his guru Milarepa.
This is one of the primary texts of the Kagyu Lineage and is of immense relevance and benefit to all practitioners, regardless of what stage they are at. In addition to providing a step-by-step outline of the path to Buddhahood, the teachings on Buddha nature can provide students with confidence in the path and inspiration to keep moving along the unmistaken path of liberation.
The text consists of 21 chapters, and this is the  second module. The course consists of a monthly full day of teaching with time for Q& A and short meditations. If booking onto this course please commit to attend all the teachings in the module, with the exception of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
The £5.13 registration charge is a single non-refundable administration fee each module of the course. Booking a cushion helps us plan for course attendance, and any reference materialsÂ
