Students will be reading Tibetan Buddhist Texts and working more on text interpretation and translation. This is a 8 week course with lessons from 7:15pm to 8.15pm on Fridays - 19th April , 26th April, 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May, 31st May, 7th June.

About the event
This is an eight week course.
Learning the Tibetan language gives one access to Tibetan literature which includes thousands of translations of Sanskrit texts from India – many of them lost in their original language – and twelve centuries of writings by Tibetan masters.
This Intermediate class will be focussing on interpretating Tibetan Texts and Grammer. The course is designed as the next term for those who where previously on the Lower Intermidate Class or who have similar standard. However if you would like to join this course, please contact the office.Â
The dates for this course will be 19th April, 26th April, 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May, 31st May, 7th June. It is strongly recommended you attend all classes.Â
About  Drukthar Gyal: Drukthar was born in Tibet, grew up in India and did further studies in the United Kingdom. He graduated from the University of Westminster and Edinburgh. He was a former Tibetan language teacher at Tibet House, Culture Centre of His Holiness The Dalai Lama in Delhi. He is an experienced Tibetan language Teacher with excellent knowledge of Tibetan language, literature and Tibetan culture.
Please Note: The number of participants for this course is limited. We ask that students seriously commit to attend all the classes to the best of their ability, and also set time aside for homework. The benefit will be worth your efforts. A list of what to bring to the class will be emailed to participants.
