About the event
We are fortunate that Khenpo Lekthong will visit Samye Dzong London again this year. Khenpo Lekthong studied in Rumtek Monastery, His Holiness Karmapa’s monastery in Sikkim. He is a Buddhist author and also speaks fluent English so will teach directly without a translator. When in India he translates for Goshir Gyaltsap Rinpoche, heart son of H H 16th Gyalwang Karmapa.
The topic of his talks will be a summary of Chandrakirti's Entering the Middle Way, on Nagarjuna's teachings on emptiness. This text gives examples and highlights its practical value. It explains the purpose of the philosophy of the Middle Way and the role it plays in the path of the bodhisattva. This is a precious opportunity to receive teachings on this important topic. It is suitable for both beginners and more advanced practitioners.
Khenpo Lekthong will also be giving several evening talks during the week.
